Hello all!

Well ,I had my "debut" last Friday as "Majella" in The Pirate Queen. It was great to finally be performing, I've been frustrated not doing so for four months now ,other than a couple of concerts in NYC just before I left on Labor Day. I have a red wig for all of my ensemble roles ,of course will be very redheaded if I am on as Queen Elizabeth. My Mom came up as well to see me in the show and caught Wicked the musical here in Chicago too. We did the architecture tour on the Chicago River and had a little "taste" of Chicago as well. She left on Sunday and I spent most of the day preparing gifts for the cast/creatives and finally we had our official opening and party! My friend , Anthony Whitaker with whom I went to middle school came as my guest. He lives in Chicago and it was so great to catch up with him! Now we're in understudy rehearsals and we have 3 weeks left ( and the weekend) in Chicago. I do look forward to being in my NY home and then in Greenville, SC for Christmas. Unfortunately I have to be here for Thanksgiving, but "Hi Diddley Dee". That's all for now! Cheers! Kimilee
