Hi Gang! Well, it's very much back in the New York Swing! Auditions, rehearsals, meetings etc! This week is crazy! I'll even shoot a mini-commercial for Claratin on Thursday. My concert is Saturday on Staten Island where I don't believe I've ever performed. I've been to many areas on Long Island, but I think this is the first on Staten, should be fun, check the press release for info if you're in the area, it's a very big program and I'm singing everything from "All That Jazz" to "Glitter and be Gay"!
Some of the "Pirate Queen" gals got together for dinner Sunday , it was great to see them and see how quickly we've all moved on! Everybody is busy with new shows, other jobs and just life! I went briefly to the Broadway Cares/EFA flea market Sunday which raised over a half a million dollars for BC/EFA! I saw my old Phantom gang there as always, selling away and giving their time along with all the other shows and organizations.
It's beautiful this week in NYC and promises to be a great weekend as well, so hopefully even if it's not great weather where you are, it'll be a good one!
Cheers!

Hey Ya'll

Well, I've been back now nearly a week! It's been a busy one with a photo shoot today for NYGASP ( I'll be doing a show with them in January), visiting friends, getting back to the gym, meeting with conductors, working in my friend's office and getting to doctor and dentist appointments.

Whew. so much for all that relaxation in Aruba! I haven't gotten to any shows yet, but I may later this week.

Today was , of course the 6th anniversary of September 11. I will definitely never forget, but it was really pretty much business as usual in NYC, which I think is good in a way. There were tributes all through the day as it should be, but no one has stopped us from living our lives as we choose and as we are FREE to do!

God Bless AMERICA!

Hello All!

I thought I'd dedicate this blog to two opera greats who recently passed. Beverly Sills and Luciano Pavarotti were two amzing performers who brought opera to so many who would never have listened a note of it! Before I ever dreamed I'd sing opera I watched Beverly Sills on The Carol Burnett Show and The Muppet Show. Pavarotti made me cry pretty much every time I heard his glorious voice. I was fortunate to hear him live in concert in Charlotte, NC when I was in college and at The Metropolitan Opera while in grad school.

I'm back in NYC today and already juggling some new projects! Watch the "News" on my site.

I'll also post more photos on myspace and facebook...
Cheers!

Well, I'm back on US soil, but not quite home yet. I made to Charlotte at 1:11 AM and it's now 4:30! I'll be in SC in a few hours and then in NYC by Wed. night. Felix was just a pain in the rear. There was no damage in Aruba, but the airport was closed until noon and since the morning flight from Charlotte was cancelled, we had no plane or we could have gone on time.
I look forward to getting back to NYC even though Aruba was a nice change of pace. Can't wait to work on some new projects and get back to the gym etc!
See ya'll in NYC or in SC!
