Happy New Year! 2008!
Wow! I can't believe how quickly time passes! What a great, but extremely busy holiday season.
Check out my latest news page to see all the events that I performed for. I guess when you are a singer , it's the busiest time of year, and that's great, but it would sure be nice to be able to RELAX once during the holidays!
And it's not over! I open in a show THIS Friday, which goes through Jan 12 and then I leave Jan. 14 to go back out to the National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera.
My show in SC went very well ( SOLD OUT) and we hope to do it again, possibly in the fall at various venues in the Upstate of SC and hopefully other areas as well. I'm assembling a team to help promote and produce shows like the one performed at The Warehouse and also other types of concerts including guest artists and more musicians.
Also the CD is in the Works! Stay tuned, we did a lot of recording just after Thanksgiving and will continue in Nashville in January while I'm nearby in Louisville.
I hurried back to NYC after a lovely few days in Greenville after my show to rehearse for the various G&S shows I'm doing. Our New Year's Eve concert was fun last night! Now I've got much work to do before we open Princess Ida on Friday, the 4th!
So more news later, but I hope everyone has wonderful, productive and healthy and HAPPY 2008!
