Still FREEZING in Omaha!
The show goes on of course, but we have had lots of snow and it's pretty darn cold here! Countdown to Texas!
It's been great reconnecting with my friend Stacie Haneline with whom I attended Converse and getting to know her terrific kids! I also saw Terry Hodges ( Phantom -Toronto, Pirates-Piedmont Opera) , who lives here. Who knew I'd have friends in Omaha?
Lots going on here artistically: Opera, Ballet, Symphony, recitals. That keeps Stacie pretty busy and hopefully I'll come back ( in warmer weather) to do something else here.
We've done the Superbowl party thing and the opening night party was nice, but I'll be rehearsing here all week, so won't see much of Omaha night life as we're preparing to get me ready for Carlotta and a few others in principal roles ( understudies and regulars).
Hal Prince just celebrated his 80th birthday, Phantom turned 20 on Broadway and Lord Lloyd Webber will be 60 this month. I, of course am still 25!
