Howdy All!

I’m in Providence now with Phantom, of course. Yesterday it snowed ALL day, but it’s really a charming city and I’m staying at the historic Biltmore hotel. I’ll be on vacation March 12-19 and will be doing a concert in NYC on the evening of the 12th, which is also my dad’s and my grandfather’s birthday. (Happy Birthday!).

Schenectady was a nice surprise. The town had never had Phantom so they were very excited and I had the opportunity to speak with students at Union College. The Theatre there ( Proctors) was also quite nice and historic as well. I’d love to go back there some spring!

The gala celebrating The Phantom of the Opera becoming the longest running show in Broadway history has been the highlight of 2006 so far! On January 9 at the Majestic on Broadway, I had the opportunity to take part in the celebration. My company (Music Box tour) performed with the Broadway company for “Masquerade” and we all were part of the HUGE curtain call. I entered with all the former and current “Christines”. It was a great reunion of so many actors with whom I have worked over the years. And the curtain call included current casts of Broadway, tour , former Christines, Raouls, Phantoms and original Broadway company members. It was completely choreographed with the “White Cat” from CATS passing the torch to Phantom. CATS previously held the title of Broadway’s longest running show.

After the show we all dressed in our gowns and tuxes and arrived at The Waldorf-Astoria for a masked ball. Candice was my guest, and it was so great to see so many friends. Oh, we also stopped by Barrymore’s where there were even more former Phantom actors celebrating!

It was a great night and I plan to share photos with you all here on the site-check out the news page for more info and I’ll post more photos soon!

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!! I’ll be in Greenville, SC celebrating March 16-19!

Cheers!
