Private
Voice Lessons with Kimilee Bryant
Ms.
Bryant has been teaching privately and giving Master Classes
for several years and is now accepting new students. Students
should be serious about developing or continuing to develop
his or her technique. Beginners are very welcome, but please
be serious about your training.
Ms.
Bryant began her private study with Ivah Dickson in South
Carolina at the age of eleven. This is was unusual for a
teacher to take on such a young student, but Kimilee's voice
was quite mature for her age, so Miss Dickson agreed to
teach her. She continued with her until graduation from
high school, even as Miss Bryant also studied at Greenville's
Fine Arts Center with Michael V. Rice and the SC Governor's
School of the Arts with Larry Gerber during her junior and
senior year.
Ms.
Bryant earned a Bachelor of Music in voice performance from
Converse College where she studied with Jane Rolandi Gray
and went on to earn her Master of Music, also in voice performance
at The Manhattan School of Music where she studied with
Mignon Dunn. Other Voice teachers include: Maitland Peters,
Adele Addison, Fred Karama and Coach Glenn Morton.
Having
studied for over twenty years as well performed professionally
worldwide, Ms. Bryant is now happy to pass on what she has
learned both in technique and experience. Please check out
the Representation pages for performing credits that include
opera, musical theater, concerts, theatre, film, television
and the occasional cabaret.
Whether
you are the next "American Idol", Pavarotti, Broadway
Star, or Miss America, Ms. Bryant can help you find a technique
which will allow you to sing in any style.
